Laser 4.7

Based upon the same hull and equipment, the Laser 4.7 has a 33% smaller sail than the standard Laser and 18% smaller than the Radial.The 4.7m2 sail is matched to a shorter pre-bent lower mast to provide easily controlled power and gust response is managed by automatic power blading of the rig. This makes the 4.7 rig manageable for the smaller sailors with less strength and body mass.

 

Laser Radial

Provides the unique opportunity of sailing the World s favourite Olympic single hander to lightweight, youth and female sailors.

The Laser Radial was initially chosen by ISAF (the Governing Authority of sailing) as the women's youth class for all events up to 2006. In November 2004 the Laser Radial was confirmed as the new Olympic ladies single hander replacing the Europe. This comes into effect for Beijing 2008.
